Newly emerged marmalade hoverfly

Whilst I was waiting next my miniature pine tree for the pompilid wasp to come back, I noticed a very odd looking hoverfly also on the pine. After I'd finished trying to shoot the wasp, I had a closer look at the hover. At first I thought it was the leftovers of a spider dinner- but found out quickly it was still alive and it eventually dawned on me it was a newly emerged hoverfly. I could see internal peristaltic waves going down it's abdomen.

I love all the detail but the second one is aesthetically ahead of the others.
