We get this species in our garden every year in the warmer months. Mostly, I find it on tops of rhubarb leaves.

I photograph it every year but I have never been satisfied with the results.

I see them on ripe raspberry or loganberry fruits, sometimes feeding. This was a one-off when one was feeding on a partly-developed, unripe raspberry. I am pleased, at last, with these images. All have been moderately cropped. The last one is more of a portrait.

Olympus EM-1 (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 x2 TC, Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, f11, hand-held.
