smugmug syncback stopped working?

I confess, I am getting back to using this after an 18 month absence. Since then, Lightroom Classic has been updated a number of times (now 10.3). I had been using smugmug syncback in the past, but now it does not work. I have verified the pugin is installed and enabled, but I get this error:
message: ...ck\SmugSyncback.lrdevplugin\mSynchronizeCaptions.lua:8: variable 'smugSyncbackPlugin' is not declared.
Any ideas out there?

My installed copy is still working, at least to update titles and captions. Lightroom Classic 10.3 with mk Smug Syncback version 1.4. I have no great debugging ideas. Have you done the obvious: remove, download a fresh copy from http://www.markuskvist.se/, and reinstall? (I am kind of surprised this very good plugin is no longer listed on SmugMug's list of third-party uploaders, downloaders, migration tools, and utilities.)
