    thx Andy...lower elevations weren't nearly this nice...this was very close to grandfather's mtn

    awesome! I live in Brevard, NC - some of the parkway is practically my backyard ;-). Great fall colors - ill be there tommorow!

    I went to Linvile Falls after the pkwy and it wasn't quite ready yet
    I tried to get into Grandfathers but the traffic was lined up on 221 waiting...what a day
