Hi Y'all,

I was just notified by the folks at Stock Florida that they sold my first pic today.

17182178-O.jpg

The funny thing is that I have currently have the D2X and D200 bodies with the 50mm 1.8; 65 F.28 Micro; 85mm 1.4;Sigma 105 2.8 Macro; 300mm F/4; 500mm F/4; 500mm F/4; 17-35mm F/2,8; 28-70mm F/2.8/; 70-200 VR F/2.8;80-400 VR /4.5-5.6 lenses.

The picture I sold was with the D100 and the much maligned 24-120 VR lens. :rofl

Thanks to Smugmug where the dude from Stock Florida first saw my pictures and then contacted me.

Your first sell is one with cutie younglings. I can see the irony in that.

But it is good news, and it is a very nice shot, so congrats!

Not yet Dee, I only mailed the DVD to them today. The main honcho, Stephen, had a buyer who wanted a sandhill crane shot and Stephen had seen my shot on my Smugmug site and he liked it better than the sandhill shots he had so he asked me to e-mail him that one shot.

    The site is www.stockflorida.com

That's great when the stock house has a buyer for your photos before they are even uploaded! Can't ask for anything more than that!

Good luck with your ventures. I've always thought your photos were more than stock worthy.

Thanks Nik. Once they set up a gallery for me I can demonstrate that I'm selling the pics and start deducting the gear costs as business expenses. biggrinbounce2.gif
