While it certainly seems interesting, the inventor behind the Memjet (Kia Silverbrook) was promising something similar in 2005, that never developed into a finished product:

I guess we'll see soon - delivery is promised late 2007 -early 2008...

I'm curious about the silicon process they're using but it seems too good
to be true. At least with their description of the process. The article has
it's share of hype too.

Let us know how it works after you've had it for a while.

New Printer Technology
Has anyone heard of the MEMSJet? I work for a MEMS company, so have seen lots of industry announcements about this printer technology, and must say it looks really promising and interesting.

It fits the consumer electronics mantra: smaller, faster, cheaper.

What would you like to know about the silicon process?

I am really anxious to see one of these babies in action.

Kia Silverwood used to work for Canon in the printer department.
