Hi Y'all,

We have a pair of otters in the Viera Wetlands. Normally you may see them for a fleeting second as they bob a noise out of the water or when they scamper into the water after crossing over from the next cell.

A while back I was just standing there talking to this other shooter when an otter comes out of the water.

then stands up and poses for us

and then goes back into the water

and swims off

You were obviously in the right spot at the right time, Harry. Well done.

How many seconds transpired for the whole series of shots?? Less than 25 seconds perhaps??

Man Harry you get to see all the wild life and birds down your way don't ya!
Otters are so intelligent, I have only ever seen them in the zoo.
I could watch them for hours as they play, and it is especially interesting to see them use rocks as tools.

Thanks PF. I reviewed the data on the shots and the otter emerged from the water at 9:25:06 and re-enetred the water on 9:26:14 so the whole sequence took 68 seconds approximately. He did spend a good 20 seconds or so stretching out and eyeballing the other shooter and myself.
