This is one of the many senior portraits that I've done this week. The blur around the corners is called Guassian Blur.

    I like the image, I would prefer it without the blur personally. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

    Seneca, the blur you applied is too hard-edged. Work on a softer transition, using gradients or different opacities on your blur brush strokes. This is a bad effect as is, can be quite good if properly done thumb.gif

    IMO his skin is a bit red in spots, and you might check that:

    Thanks for the comments. Yes I thought the blur probably wouldn't work on this particular picture...I just thought I would try it out and try and get some feedback.

    I decided to post it to see if I could get some other opinions...the C&C's always work especially if we want to grow as photographers. Thanks again!

    Great Color...
    Composition, color, and saturation are great. Agree on the edge. Post the revision when you have it. clap.gif
