Cool shot. I like the wide angle perspective.

When I read the title I envisaged an old bloke on a push bike. This somehow isn't it rolleyes1.gif

Very unusual take - I'd be inclined to take it at 45 degrees but this works quite well too.

pretty neat, not a typical portrait for sure. It's that you titled it with the word 'farmer', I wouldn't have gotten that from the photo. I wonder how it would look black/white. The highlights on the right are a bit strong for me. I like the shot though, cool use of this type of lens.

I know why you titled it "farmer..." 'Cause in the feedback thread, Shay said your "biker" looked more like a "farmer", right? eek7.gif:D

The wide angle on this gives a very interesting and unique perspective. thumb.gif

Give me a rice rocket every time for the speed :)

Nice portrait-- but I have to agree, the blown highlights really make me twitch.

well, considering one tiny spot on the tank is reading 254, and anything else is 244 and below, I'm not sure about any blown highlights, unless it's some kind of relative, perceptual thing-

but I am willing to be 'enlightened', and further my knowledge in the wonderful world of photography-

    seriously, talk to me-

I won't discount the possibility that it's my monitor, but I'm thinking that his left arm looks a bit whited out. On closer inspection at the top of the front wheel, it's not blown, just no detail there. The top of the tank also seems a bit whited to me, the chrome on the handles, the sky in the upper right-- basically, all the areas that are white, I'd expect to be another color, and it's weirding me out. I'm willing to accept the weirdness, though :)

I did some 'overprocessing' to this (who and what else!) probably causing the 'weirdness'-

would you say maybe there can be 'perceptual' blown highlights?-

    anyway, thanks for looking-

Sweet! I'm diggin it man thumb.gif

Now you have the visual context. The title builds on that too.

    Love the wide angle!
