only in L.A. here i was shooting this very nice egret --now the egret i know looks great but boy o boy do love that bokeh :D :lust

    I think this shot is very well composed. It was the heat of the moment, the decision was made, and the outcome is quite accepable.

    keep clicking past all the point focus settings and when the little feminie figure appears in the viewfinder means you locked in the right setting for these photos. My D70 has this same issue and I always wondered what that setting was for. ne_nau.gif

    I'm a novice but isn't the bokeh supposed to be out of focus, not the egret? rolleyes1.gif

    for just a moment I will step over the humor --thanks this is a good example of a wildlife photo guy you see a movement adj. take one shot and pray you get the exposer ,if she had taken one more step there was no shot -it is over exposed i did not get the setting just right and i only took the one .As i hoped it made for good dgrin humor that we need around here and thanks for your comment as well as your humor Matt is it headscratch.gif

    You got it all wrong, you are supposed to FOCUS on the subject (little white egret) and not the "bokeh" (anorexic what-ever-it-is):tough :soapbox :deadhorse :bash
