Price Police comments aren't welcomed here !!!

    You should know that.
If not, I can gladly help you:

"* This isn't one of those other sites, so posting to threads is encouraged - common courtesy applies. If you have suggestions for helping the seller, by all means, post it, but try to keep blunt advice such as price policing discreet (PM's are good). That being said: don't be the price police! Ignorance is the best policy for price adjustment."

when did I die making you two the bosses around here? lol3.gif

Shima, I believe you may have glossed over that fact that there is a (somewhat rare) hard case going with this lens and it includes shipping. Z, thanks for coming to the rescue, but lets give some benefit of the doubt here. Shima meant well, in this case. You know as well as I do that most of the "police" I blast off this forum are very blunt and rude.

Regardless, nothing to see here, moving along...

    I can't believe this hasn't sold yet! ne_nau.gif

If I didn't already have one I'd scoop it up in a heartbeat at this price.

amen to that, I'm drooling over it even more now that the price was dropped on the 70-200... but alas after Christmas I am sooo broke, I was only able to afford the sigma 70-200 I got a few weeks ago because I sold my canon 70-200 f4..... so yeah, somebody better grab it while they can at that price, it's pretty unbeatable w/ the hard case as well.

that is pretty lame calling the guy's price out like that. first and foremost that special link you posted was actually for people who spent money to attend a Sponsored B&H event, and not for the general public.

Second, it is a temporary price discount that will not last forever as are the canon rebates.

If you don't like his price, don't buy it. But don't hurt the value of the product he is trying to sell, especially when he could've very well paid $1675 for it.

Step One accomplished: Convince wife I deserve to get this model lens this year.

Step Two: Try to convince wife I need to get *this* lens at this price now. Could be a tall order.
