Ok, what did I do this time? :-)

Upgraded to FF 2.0.0.12
I double checked my cookie settings... they're fine
I double checked ALL my settings in FF... they appear to be unchanged since upgrading to new ver.
and now...
I can't see photos in this gallery
http://princeofpaws.smugmug.com/gallery/3679173/1/229407517

I can't see photos in this gallery
http://www.princeofpaws.com/gallery/3679265/1/210357295

I can't see my galleries on this page: the link that says Client Gallery...
is taking me back to my homepage instead of the galleries!

All this happens only when i'm logged OUT.
All is well when I'm logged IN.

Help?

Thank you.

I don't know if this helps, but I have the same FF as you, and I can see both your galleries just fine.

I don't know anything about the technical stuff, just thought I'd let you know I can see them ok.

I'm having the same problem both logged in and not - with my own gallery and my friend's gallery.

Hers is http://cdonovanphotos.smugmug.com/ and mine is http://imagesbyceci@smugmug.com

When I clicked on the link for Snowgirl's gallery, I got a warning message that said "You are about to be logged into the site 'smugmug.com' with the username "imagesbyceci", but the website does not require authentication. This may be an attempt to trick you. Is 'smugmug.com' the site you want to visit?" I clicked yes and it took me to smugmug's homepage, when I clicked "your photos" it did take me to my own homepage so it didn't really log me in as you. Her friend's site was fine for me.

Hello Mark we got your email also.

Please clear all your Firefox cookies for SmugMug and Firefox cache, close the browser, and then go back to your links and see if the behavior repeats.

still the problem persits for me :-(

Oddly enough, NONE of those problems are appearing when I go to my other smugmug website at 360photostock.com

    Did I miss something, Andy?

    To double check
Just to double check,I went into each of those galleries that I could not see my photos and, visited the customize section to make sure nothing was checked off that would make the photos not appear (hello world, etc.)

    Still..... same problem.

I remember having this problem once before but, it turned out I had some of the items in customization unchecked in the visibility section of customization. At THAT time, when I recheck marked each of those items, the photos were once again visible logged in or out.

    Not this time though.

Odd. Running into the issue with my gallery:

    http://verbal.smugmug.com/

In Safari looks fine. But in FF (clearing cache, cookies, etc.) my 'featured photos' are missing. Even when I log into the password protected gallery, the photo that is featured is missing from the photos in the album.

    FF extensions include:

    Greasemonkey
    SmugBrowser
    and... (headslap)
    Web Developer!

Just figured I had 'Disable Referrers' option enabled in FF. I disabled that option and was able to now see those photos!

Not sure why it only effected part of my photos.

I have no idea if this is causing your problems, but there a number of errors in your customizations.
    • You have two extra </a> tags after the text in your footer: "All images copyright Mark Javer, the Prince Of Paws."
    • You have an error in your custom CSS on the style rule for CPfooter

      • .homepage #CPfooter {
        display:
        }</pre>
    • You have an orphaned close bracket } in your CSS right after the rule for .gallery_3679340
    • You have a whole bunch of illegal CSS rules with a / character in the selector. You've got this selector wrong and it can't contain the / character. They all start with the line ".gallery_gallery/3679340 .nophotos {"
    • In your custom Javascript, you've got an error in the delHover function and it's missing a close brace
    • There's also a piece of JavaScript ********>
      if (hasPath("galleries"))
      YD.addClass(document.body, "galleries");
      </********
that generates an error because the function hasPath is not defined - probably because of one of your other Javascript errors.
Since you have Firefox, you should attempt to fix all these, then open the Tools/Error Console in Firefox. Hit the clear button, then load your homepage. Then, scroll through all the errors and warnings. There should be no warnings in your user_princeofpaws-xxxx CSS file and there should be no errors at all. It is normal to have some CSS warnings in the YUI files because of browser-specific hacks.

Glad you got it fixed, but you also have some strange things in your navbar such as

    princeofpaws.com.smugmug.com

    <div id="navcontainer">

It might have only affected the ones with external linking off. I don't think Smugmug has ever said how external linking detection works, but it very well may use the referrer.

    BIG TIME problem!!!!!!!
I got most of the issues cleared up on my princeofpaws.com website.

now, somehow my 360photostock.com website has the elements of the princeofpaws.com website... and my header is gone and most of the customization is gone!

What the f could have happened ?

I be because I had two pages open, one with princeofpaws.com and one with 360photostock.com somehow, some way when I logged in and out and saved customizations, this happened?

Now, how do I get my 360photostock site back to where it was.... sigh.

You have your customizing backed up, yes?

You'd want to be using totally separate browsers (like FF on one, Flock on another, or IE on the other) when customizing 2 sites at the same time....

Have a look at: http://360photostock.smugmug.com/ to see if it's close.....

There are still some validity issues that probably should be fixed:
    • It looks to me like this page still has an open DIV somewhere.
    • There are still invalid CSS selectors with a slash in them like: ".gallery_gallery/4145492".
    • There's an invalid comment in the CSS on the line with "//#feeds {" on it.

    Rich..........
Thank you for your help thus far, couldn't have done it without you, that's for sure!

    RE: 360photostock.com

I would like if you could to simply bring the page visually back to the way it was. If you can help with the following minor tweaks to bring it back the way it was, I would appreciate it.

    1. I'm missing two links from my nav bar
    A. On the far left side I had a smugsearch box right ON the nav bar

    2. The whole page of galleries has shifted to the left side of the page...
centering it would be appreciated, that's how it was.

    3. In this gallery, the thumbs are no longer visible... just a series of horizontal lines representing each thumbnail and no viewing of the images on the right side when clicking the thumbnails (or lines at this point) http://360photostock.smugmug.com/gallery/4309268_UzF5x#252592558

    4. There's still lots of code appearing in the error console making mention of princeofpaws.com when this is the 360photostock.com website we are viewing? Not sure how that works? But I bet you no more than I do! :-)

    Thank you!
