Very handsome Stan. Lots detail in these pics plus the perches are very clean with a nice background.

    Thanks Stephen.

I would have preferred a better perch and had set up a branch by the side but they all ignored it and went straight for the seeds !!

Nice images ... I liked the chaffinch best.

My backyard birdery has feeders and tons of branches, fence posts, etc. They always seem to want their pictures taken at the feeders! ne_nau.gif

    Hi Bob

Yes I think the chaffinch has quite a nice expression. With these shots I did in fact have a branch set up just out of shot, but probably like in your garden they ignored it and went straight for the seeds.

I have had a tip to spread peanut butter on the branch so will try that out next week

    Regards

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

What sweet little birds. Great bokeh! Love the color and the sharpness of the images. It seems you could just reach out and touch them.
