    When did Canon have their logo with a blue background? I know China has the highest protection for copyrights and such, so I don't think it's a fake sticker.
    :D

    Anyway, it looks hand holdable for the zoos, in case I want pictures of animals pores on their noses or something.

    It's only manual focus. Sorry, I take too many bifs and other action shots so I need the AF. Plus it is F14 so it is useless in low-light situations. rolleyes1.gif

    sure, if he wanted a photo of the NYC skyline, from San Fran!

    What application could this possibly be designed for? Astrophotography would likely get better use from a real telescope than this? I can really only think of one application: photographing someone or something that you don't want to know is being photographed. Chinese 'company' indeed.

    Whah? Engineers will build a custom mount? You mean to tell me its an FD mount? Might as well budget $55,030 (plus those refrigerator shipping charges) and get this

    Heck ... at a mere 220 lbs, without the stand, I could shoot all the surfers in the county from just one location. No more driving up and down the coast.

    But first I need to check to see if I have enough extra room in my camera bag to squeeze this baby in.
