Conversion Killers
Does anyone know how to get the "add to cart" button to not disappear/fade out when viewing an image? I've received many messages from potential buyers that can't find pricing, and that can't figure out how to add to cart. I attribute these questions to the fact that the add to cart button disappears/fades out when viewing… -

Orange Underwing in Conifer
This is (I think) an Orange Underwing, which was deep in the leylandii which are the borders of next door neighbours. The light inside the branches ws low so I had to use the ringflash for illumination. Didn't come out to bad I think. Sigma 105, ringflash, tripod mounted. C&C as always appreciated. Square mono long exposure coast shots
I've been doing a series of square mono long exposure shots of watery scenes recently. I quite like this format and the long exposure gets some very intriguing results. The idea is to have a set of 20 or so that I can pick 3 or 4 from to put on the wall in my hallway. I try and get strong compositions with positive shapes.… -
Bruce Wood
Since choreographer Bruce Wood died a few months ago at the age of 53, I decided to completely rework my previous collection "Uncertainty Principle," and add to it whatever I deem is worthy of the spirit of the man. This work is taxing and enormous. I have 16,820 frames about his work: studio rehearsals, premiers, tours,… -

Spidery looksie...
Just looking back through some of my older RAW files to while away the time as I'm watching "The Matrix" on our new blu-ray player (shame about the crappy Samsung TV) and I found this nice close up of one of my orb spiders from days gone by. WDYT? Exif: Camera Maker: Canon Camera Model: Canon EOS 450D Image Date:… -

Re: 1DMkIII Firmware update. 1.1.3
Chris, Have you attempted to re-calibrate the lens to the body? The micro-calibration may have become disturbed with the new firmware. (I have no idea if that's true, pure conjecture and something to try.) Definitely try some static shots to see if predictive AF is the problem. I believe that you can revert to a previous… -
Re: Akamai coming to custom hostnames
Mog, Some domain hosts require that you have an A record if you have a CNAME. So you probably want to add the @ A record and point it at 208.79.45.23 the only other thing I can see is the dig tool is reporting: Warning: Message parser reports malformed message packet. Using domain server: Name: ns.hosteurope.com Address:…
