Re: Found my photo on ebay
Hi John, Thanks for taking a look and some of my work and of course real pleased you like what you saw! Most countries in Southeast Asia have advertising slogans, which you hear every now on them on TV or see on billboards, by way of tourism authorities attempting to attract increasing numbers of visitors. “Malaysia Truly… -
Re: New Event computer Setup
I don't mind sharing my set up/process at all, maybe I can fine tune it with some input also. I currently have the luxury of shooting 100% indoors right now so I have to setup and tear down everything for each event. I currently use Photo Parata for my loading and viewing software. It is very easy on the PCs which is one… -
PS LAB Color, Chapter 16 -- Recipe for portraits
This chapter presents a recipe for portraits which Dan claims drastically improves their belivability. The recipe is easy to learn but it has a few decision points which I've found difficult to master. I've been practicing it for a few months now and also practiced in Dan's class. Now I'm getting consistently improved… -
A north cascades adventure
***This is a Trip report of a recent vacation I took with my little brother...a brother's trip. I don't usually post the story with the photos on here, but I thought I would this time :) Heck the pics aren't much fun without the story IMHO. I hope a few of you guys enjoy. -- Watson to Blum Traverse: with self propelled… -
>>> LPS#12 Feedback Thread
I think I am finally getting caught up with things. 2 - nelsonstuff - The Love of Money is the Root of All Evil Kind of funny in it's crude construction, but babies don't usually have a love of anything but food at that point, so I don't quite get the setup. 3 - Povertybarn - "The Evil that Men do" Very cool look! The… -
Re: Moving Photos
workaround found I think Lemme see if I can explain what happened! Delema: I have around 800 photos in gallery1. I want to make this gallery no longer available but I don't want to delete it so the solution is to make gallery2 and move all the photos from gallery1 to gallery2. Set gallery2 to not "public" and delete… -

Here are my thoughts as I looked through them. Post# - Photog - Title 3 - denika - Porcelain Romp The framing and color seem at odds with what… -
Chapter 11 - Retouching in LAB - Late and Incomplete
I loved the next to last paragraph in Chapter 11...... The author states, "I have tried to point out some of the areas in which retouching in LAB is superior to more customary alternatives. IF you followed every example, pat yourself on the back, because most experts would not be able to. For sure, you should not be upset… -
Re: > DSS Mega-Challenge #1 (The Elements): Feedback Thread
My Feedback Sorry to have taken so long here with my feedback. You all worked so hard, and there were some fantastic entries for an extremely tricky theme. #2 - jeffreaux2 - Tungsten No. 74 I totally appreciated the direction you went with this, and really thought there would be more entries along the same lines. Your… -
Re: Transoxania (Uzbekistan)
But I digress.... Back to the Topic at Hand, that is to say, our trip. To the Aral.... AND BEYOND! I had meticulously planned our trip, even making a little calendar marking where we would be and having pictures of the moon phases for night photography. Our first planned action was to fly from Tashkent way out west to…
