Re: Music in the future?
I'm a new SmugMug user - just opened my account a few weeks ago. I have two Phanfare accounts (one for my family and one for my summer hobby as the volunteer photographer / videographer for a local summer baseball team for college players.) I have six days to make a renewal decision on one of those accounts. I became a… -

Around Yoyogi Park, Tokyo
I'm a graphic designer by trade... So Photoshop is one of my best friends... But even best friends need a little space, so when it comes to photography, I'm leaning towards my own version of purism - I try not to touch Photoshop! This is partly to save time, but mainly to improve my photography skills... Saying this,… -

What am I doing wrong? - Karts
I was able to shoot Karts for the first time today and it was quite fun and most certainly a challenge. Other than not being very good at panning which I learned today, I can't for the life of me figure out what's going on with a large number of shots. I think I had the whole day on "Continuous" focus and not single servo.… -
I have $$ to burn, what to buy??
Don't ask how it happened, but I have come into a sudden small windfall, that my hubby does not know about. I will do good things and pay bills and such, put a big chunk away for a rainy day,.. but I can afford to spend some on photography. 5 - 10,000. !! Maybe a bit more. The ONLY hitch is, that it must be stuff that… -
SOLD: So-CA (US) Canon 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 IS
I've one pretty much like new with all caps/box/papers/receipt/plastic wrapping with a nice top of the line Hoya s-HMC UV filter (Hoya's top of the line super multicoated model) that I've had on it for protection. No scratches, nicks, dings on the filter or the lens. I really don't use this much, I originally thought about… -
Re: just ordered 1st blurb book-others?
I just received my first Blurb book, an 8x10 56 pager. Since Smugmug is now affiliated with Blurb, I thought it was a good time to give micropublishing a try. The Blurb Booksmart software worked fine, even though I used a "slow" Mac computer that is under their minimum requirements. The integration with Smugmug worked as… -
