Re: Dealing with sports leagues - what to give back
Update - I survived So, I survived the week-end; barely. So far, from a business perspective, it was a flop. I spent 15 hours on Sat. and 13 hours on Sunday shooting - including presentation photos and action shots. In all I captured 2575 images. I then spent 8 hours on Monday culling and sorting. 4 hours on Tuesday… -
Re: Need camera bag suggestions!
I grate that you decided on the backpack. I have been using the Lowepro CompuTrekker AW for 3 years and travel more than 100K mileage (it is true according to my frequent flyer record). It swallows the 5D and Rebel body, a 24-105 F4, a 70-200 F2.8, a Sigma 18-200, a Tamron 11-18, 2 X 580EX flash, a Epson P200 HD. tons of… -

Re: >>> DSS Challenge #4 (Photo Filters): Feedback Thread
Feedback for Page 5 entries #42 Stalking (pemmett) - I like the strong composition and the tilted horizon ... it is a very pleasing image, simple and effective. #43 Inheritance (mmroden) - Nice lighting, effective cmposition. But the most interesting part of this is someone else's photograph and I didn't know how to feel… -
Re: Help Baldy shoot for a 72x240-inch print
When you say " f/2.8 at f/8" do you mean at 1/8 second? How long did it take to shoot all 109 shots? Did you use mirror lockup? It looks like you got lucky with the focus. :-) About how far away were you from the cathedral? The online DoF calculator at www.dofmaster.com says: Subject distance 500 ft Depth of field Near… -
Re: Add a PayPal shopping cart to your SmugMug galleries
Lamah, That worked perfectly (see attached) !! D Thank you! So well that I'm inspired to take it to the next level... Is there a way to add a rectangular shaped background (with a choice of color) so it would look like an 'ordering panel' so to speak? I've looked at TalkieT's that you functionalized and based on what I can… -
Re: Unofficial LPS 13 Feedback Thread
#14 Strikeslip - Just Another Rock In Space I really enjoy the smooth transition between light and dark on the surface of the moon, but the detail is what makes me grin. Wonderful photo, I want your lenses. #16 quark - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Very good use of ... whatever you used. I imagine… -

FS (UK) 85mmf1.2L Mk2
Hi, I am thinking of selling my new 85f1.2Lmk2 lens as I just do not use it, I took a couple of pics of the kids and of one friend, and that's been it! It was an impulse buy; I have the other two of the 'trio', the 135f2L and the 35f1.4L (see pics in link below) and kept reading how great this lens was and other users…
