Re: Which DVD should be used for best results
If you are using a very good quality disk (look at the color of the disk ....if it a dye (red, blue, green, purple etc etc) then check with the mfg'er to find out what type.....the MAM-A site tals about dyes also), if the burning side of the disk is silver then it is most likely a metallic foil and should be good for a few… -
Re: First Hummingbird post, but not my first Hummingbird images
thanks, and some explanation Hi Ron, First off, thank you for the kind words! Understand that I am a relative "rookie" in terms of bird photography - I've been shooting seriously on a continuous basis for barely over a year. I started in mid-2006 and took these images in 2007. Re: Best camera & lens for $1700?
Hi Melodina, I won't say anything about you photographing the wedding instead of an experienced professional, because I'm sure that with your appreciation for photography, you would KNOW whether or not your niece can afford an experienced pro. Hey, I was dirt poor when I got married too, and I've photographed plenty of… -

This past weekend, six of us got together for what has become an annual ride. The group is made up of mostly youngsters and us 'old' guys...hahahaha! You're as young as you feel :D Our route would take us through the Napa Valley to Eureka on day one. The next day found us testing the limits of traction (or some of us at… -

2006 -- What's your archive plan?
New year -- time to evaluate all things -- and one of them should be "what is my backup plan" for my digital photos. If you have your photos on your computer hard drive -- and nowhere else -- you NEED to take action. Hard drives fail -- always. It's just a matter of when, not if. Having only one copy of your digital images…
