FINALLY got to play in the studio :) (C&C)
Yes, more SP's, but unfortunately I'm the only model always available on my schedule ... :rofl Excuse the no-makeup, informal look ... this was a case of "grab the time while you're here and you have it" so I had to make do with the way I was! This was literally just a chance to get in there, play with the gear, and see… -
Re: A day in the life of dgrin! (an unofficial challenge)…
Snapshots! That's all I got really. We had a sunny day, but what I didn't expect was the unrelenting WIND at the beach ranging from 23 to 42 miles per hour! I have 749 snapshots! And, it will be difficult to pick 10 "good" ones to show. So, it will be 10 snapshots in a day of my life. No great art at all. :cry I'll start… -

Re: After some lighting advice
Gus, I hesitate to mention this, but I think you might find it useful in more than one way. You said you do not want to purchase a transmitter - how about an infrared focusing aid for shooting in the dark, that will also trigger a remote 430ex? I am talking about the Canon ST-E2. It will trigger a 430ex,a 420ex, a 550ex,… -

Re: Bike rides from the past couple of weeks
Well Tom, "wide" is a relative term. Both of our e-bikes have 42-622 (28"x1.60") tires, that is much wider than a normal road (racing) bike tire which are somewhere between 1.10"-1.20" wide. You ride on fat tires so you know that the larger the tire, the more comfortable the ride. However what really makes a difference on… -
Re: Does changeAlbumSettings work ?
Let's try this again. I POSTed this rpc call from a test page I made through a PEAR xlp-rpc client. Looks clean to me. I get an empty string from smugmug and no error but it doesn't update the album settings. Has anyone else ever made changeAlbumSettings work ? [PHP] <?xml version="1.0"?> <methodCall>… -
Re: Frustrated with the categories system
I very much disagree. In fact, I think that keywords would be a much more powerful and much easier way to handle this situation. The only assumption is that a person would have to know a) how to type a keyword into a search and b) what they are looking for (i.e. what school, season, sport, JV or Varsity, and so on). So if… -

Printing Very Large Panoramic Prints (75 Inches Wide)
As a landscape photographer doing wide (3x1) panoramic photos I'm interested to know if SmugMug has any intensions of offering larger printing sizes in the near future? Ideally I'd like to offer my customers these sizes: 50 inches wide (127 cm x 42 cm) 60 inches wide (152 cm x 51 cm) 75 inches wide (190 cm x 63 cm) An…
