Re: Hi, I'm new to the forum...critiques please?
...but I would like to get some professional opinions on my work (opinions from any other photographers would be greatly appreciated!) If you get a chance do check out my site. If I can find the time I will try and post a few here. Thank you again and I'm looking forward to being part of this forum! Natalie… -
Re: Sunset on Ruby Beach
Thanks! The lenses were the Canon 24-105 and 16-35. My technique: 1) Live within 4 hours of an awesome beach 2) Drive there on an impulse, even if there's a 50% chance you won't come away with anything 3) Get extremely lucky with the clouds and the low tide and the sunset 4) Take off the lens cap :D Because of the low… -

Re: SmugMug Feature Requests #3
Hello, I suspect what I am about to write may get quite long. I've spent the last month uploading all of my digital pics (I am a Standard user), and as I went along, I made notes on features I would like added/things I would like changed. In order not to duplicate suggestions, I did make a point of reading the 23 pages of… -

To capture a correct exposure requires a specific amount of light - think of it as one full bucket full. You control the amount of light getting to your sensor via the aperture… -

Alaskan Weekend
I posted this on another forum and thought maybe it was a good fit for "Journeys" here on Dgrin. Originally when I posted it I did so just to share what a summer weekend can be like up here. Don't get me wrong, they're not all this way, but what I'm documenting here is not at all unusual. So maybe anyone who's been… -
Photo Essay: A Lovely But Frusterating Fishing Trip
Hello friends! Last Tuesday my familiy (spouse + 2 children) took a trip down to Småland (500 km south of Stockholm where we live) to my parents in law - the childrens grandma and grandpa. Not working until Friday night, suddenly I got all the time in the world to do whatever I wanna do. So, last night I (with all this…
