Re: Pull backs....lets have some!
I simply blew it. I didn't catch it and it should have been on the other side. I confess, at times I just get lazy. Good catch. This is only my second attempt with the PLM. I'm not totally happy with it. This is the mid size and I just ordered the 84" yesterday. I have to practice with it more to get the feel for it. -

Re: extenders
I know South Australia just imported 84 wallopers from the UK...i was reading an article on one chap the other day. He said it was odd to now carry a gun with him. He did drop a lot in pay but went on to mention the much lower cost of living & good weather. I found this if your interested out of date that it is. -
Re: SmugMug Feature Requests #4
Yeah, but as you already told me, the standard smugmug popular photos link cannot be changed to default to a specific style. However I just figure out how to change the standard link: http://www.dgrin.com/showpost.php?p=386995&postcount=84 Problem solved (even though it would be nice to have this native to avoid code… -
Re: LowePro TLZ1 Camera Bag...
With the kit lens, I'm sure it would fit nicely. Even with the hood reversed. My D70, with the 24-84 (hood reversed) is a nice snug fit. Also has a front zippered storage area for memory/battery/microcloth/ect storage. Theres another zippered storage area in the lid. Need a cheap over the shoulder bag DRIt? -
Re: i wanna mac.
Right now the MacIntels are running PS through emulation called Rosetta. When Adobe releases CS3, it will run natively. So in the meantime, you're taking a performance hit. 1 gig is an absolute minimum, IMO. And if you're running PS, anything to avoid using the disk cache is a good thing, so more RAM is good. Read this and… -
Re: Spend my money for me?
Don't listen to Harry!! Do not buy the 84 f1.2 unless you just can't live without it. I love it, but the 85 f1.8 will work 99% of the time and costs 1/4 as much. Buy the 85 f1.8 - it is a steal:): or the 50mm f1.4 - You need some good primes. Or even the 24-70f2.8 L with a 500D 77mm macro adapter for you butterflies. -
Re: Spring Time in Texas
Are these also called 'Lupines' or something? I only know them as Blue Bonnets, here in Texas. Also I should probably know who Dennis Moore is..... guess it's time for some googling. I'm in love this new Tamron lens I have, it performs so very good for everything I shoot with it, Best $84 i ever spent. :D
