OK! Did you mean to say that you "cannot" afford or is this stated correctly? (you have a healthy budget if so!) Have you read this thread? The Anand LCD Thread http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=31&threadid=2049206&enterthread=y Read at least the first two posts in it as they have the technical info and… -

Re: Value of my photographs
Hi- Learned a lot last year about selling photgraphs. 1. I took a panoramic of the flooding in Annapolis MD after Hurricane Isabel. I hung it in a coffee shop, put a price tag of $45 on it It flew off the shelves, so I immediatley raised the price to $70. Why $70? Because it's what i would pay for it. Well, that price… -
Re: I need some advice from the pros….
Wow! Wow gals and guys, I'm humbled by the support you've given me! It's strange you know...sometimes when I'm not quite sure about what direction I should head next....all it takes is bouncing the ideas off someone else and the muddy water gets cleared up! Re: Margulis "Professional Photoshop, Fifth Edition"
But that’s not enough information for ideal (proper) output sharpening. Its a start. 5x8 at 200ppi would be treated differently than 5x8 at 480ppi. Output to an ink jet is different than output to a halftone device which is different than output to a contone device. If ink jet, matt or glossy paper? Which is the best place… -

There is only one condition: The sun has to be in the picture. Looking forward to your entries. This Mini-Challenge will run a bit less than 3 weeks and end… -

Downeast solstice
I was feeling the need for an Acadia National Park "fix" by mid-December. I settled on a long weekend just before the winter solstice for a quick wander, starting my journey with a quick (overnight) visit with a friend in Yarmouth, ME. That gave me a jump up the coast, allowing me to spend the afternoon of my first… -
