Re: Dilemma - Print myself or continue sending out
I used 220 ml cartridges on an Epson and while the ink is extremely expensive when you consider you just printed out a 16x20 for under 5 dollars it isn't so bad. Now the downside is you need to keep it calibrated, which can be a big pain especially if you ever don't use it for a month or more. I tried getting a Epson 10000… -
Re: Need a second opinion before I order this print
I agree, it looks splendid! Blacks read down to 0,0,0 in the darkest parts of the rock, and the highest whites I can find are about 240, 230, 220 or so, hence no blown highlights. I think the highlights COULD be lightened just a smidgeon, maybe raise the right end of the curve gently. I can find no specular reflections in… -
Re: New Event computer Setup
Wow Glort! Great follow thru and reportage, as usual. And yes, $300 for 24 riders is awesome. Percentage wise it's better than $1800 for 220 riders, right? So all of your cars are diesel? I like how you've taken ahold of that expense and killed it! Nice work! I know that set-up may not seem impressive to you, but to me and… -

Re: ballhead confusion
I ended up buying a Manfrotto 3021BPRO Tripod with 486RC2 ballhead and RC2 quick release plate. $220 delivered, that was in my price range and seems to be a nice low-end setup. It should work fine for me, although I may add that flash bracket level you mentioned. I was surprised to find out that if you loosen the ballhead… -
Re: PS "scratch disk" help needed!!!!
not the issue Guys, I understand the issue of space on the computer. And your point is taken, however....This problem has existed when I have 80GB free, 40GB, 1GB free. Re: Decent quality 21-22" lcd?
I second the idea for the 2209WA I bought one a month or so ago and for the price it is pretty good. It was listed for $300 but I called them and mentioned that I saw an ad for it a few weeks back and wanted that price. The ad was for $209. They couldn't match that so I paid about $220 and got free 2-day shipping when I… -
Re: That's it . . . I'm switching to Canon . . .
Back in the days of yore....yashica did approx the same thing...with their 120/220 format twin lens camera.....brought outthe new model still black with a gold stripe around the front of the lens box and added the light meter to the upper left hand side and called it the 124"G".....previous model was, I think, the 124… -

Since we bought it in the States (hubby is american) apple US sends us to apple UK, apple UK can not do anything cause we bought it in the…
