Printing Very Large Panoramic Prints (75 Inches Wide)
As a landscape photographer doing wide (3x1) panoramic photos I'm interested to know if SmugMug has any intensions of offering larger printing sizes in the near future? Ideally I'd like to offer my customers these sizes: 50 inches wide (127 cm x 42 cm) 60 inches wide (152 cm x 51 cm) 75 inches wide (190 cm x 63 cm) An… -
Upload problems - tracert inside
I'm having a heck of a time even getting a single file up to SM since last night. I don't really think it's related to the SM hardware change though - a tracert is showing the occasional timeout in the level3.net hops, which is about halfway between me and SM's servers: tracert smugmug.comTracing route to smugmug.com… -

Skin-tone question for great EZPrints
I'm working on some skin tone color corrections for prints that will be made through smugmug. I find this smugmug help page very helpful when I'm in Photoshop and have access to CMYK values, but I have a couple issues that I'm looking for some other reference sources or help on. First, I'm trying to color correct a group… -
Severe performance problems showing images using custom sizes
I've noticed what I would consider to be severe performance problems viewing my site over the past few days. I can't tell you exacty when this started, but I believe it was a recent change. I see the same problem from my work computer, running IE7 and Firefox 3.x (sorry, don't know exact version, and I'm at home now) on… -
Then and now...
I've never tried a "then and now" type shot before, yet a friend asked if I'd give it a whirl. Lee purchased a 1962 Honda Superhawk new and has had it ever since. That's crowding some 48 years with the same bike. A few weeks ago, I was approached to try and recreate an 'updated' version of a picture taken from August 1963… -
Re: Canon 400mm f/5.6L pics don't seem sharp
My 400mm f/5.6L is sharp as a tack! One of the things that I love about this lens is the quality of the imagery obtainable when shooting wide open! The fact that I can get tack sharp images at f/5.6 is important since that is a fairly small aperture and if I had to stop down to get good imagery, it would be difficult to… -
Re: So, what do you guys think?
My favorites in order of submission (yes, I know there are more than ten, but I'm not a judge... ):* #6: Joy or Sorrow? (great image that is interpreted different based upon each viewer's point of view) * #13: Umbrella Maker (I love the tone and texture of this photo as well as the character in his face. I can see the…
