Purnululu National Park - Western Australia
Hi, earlier this year took a 15000 km trip around half of Australia (WA/South Australia/Northern Territory). The Purnululu NP was one of the highlights - also known as the Bungle Bungles. The sandstone rock formations were deposited about 350 million years ago, and although the area has been known by the local traditional… -
SOLD: 1D Mark II 15000 Clicks $2300
I'm selling my 1D Mark II for $2200 OBO. I just don't use it enough to justify having it and am thinking I'll get the smaller D40. The camera is in very good condition with only a couple very minor cosmetic scratches on the frame. The LCD's are all in "as new" condition. This camera has about 15,000 shutter actuations. I… -
Re: Lord V. was Dugg!
Hi Phil, Thanks for the info- I had found out about it via a circuitus route. (FlickR mail and then DSLReports) You were certainly right about the number of views. Gone upfrom 15000 to 98000 in the last 3 days on my FlickR account. Should make 100000 views before New Year. Still not sure I understand what appearing on… -

Canon 5d Classic. I am the second owner. Camera has approximately 15000 clicks on it. Re: The Car Talk Thread
Mate sorry but your dad has no possible idea what he is talking about. I can open up the valves on my BM in ...what ...under 2 mins with an allen key & then do the timing in a few mins more with a spanner on the end of the crank (another allen key job) after i flick out the rubber gromet to see the flywheel marker. Shaft… -
Re: Home Brew- A Core i7 PC build
Yup....Its just about all I could afford. I am probably going to RMA the video card as it is iffy on 3D apps.....may be a driver issue....but I am pretty sure it's the card. Even so, it managed a score in 3Dmark06 above 15000 with all the cpu and VGA processors and RAM at stock clocks. That is about what I expected from… -
Re: Costs per Click!
The proper way to write it is .016 cents. However, if you will go back and notice, I started with I totally agree with the concept of the original post. Any business person should calculate the costs of operating a business, and that includes replacement costs, and upgrading items. However, the math still does not add up.… -
Re: Uploading over 1000 photos
Hi Jason, We released an update to our uploader a few weeks ago that should have fixed all of the duplicate photo issues. You should be able to drag the entire set of 1000+ photos into the uploader and it will gradually go through and check each one for a duplicate. You should not have duplicate files getting through and… -
TIP --> Shooting Basketball w/bounce flash...
Hey guys/gals, Just wanted to give a tip on shooting basketball in those horrid HS gyms. Please note that I'm not trying to convince anyone that using bounce flash is the best way to shoot HS basketball, but, if you are trying to overcome that horrid lighting, bounce flash just might be for you. First, were talking BOUNCE…
