Re: Canon Rebates Released
The positive to this round of rebates is first of all that the exist at all. Despite the fact that a lot of people seem to feel that Canon is somehow obligated to offer the rebates every year, when you consider that in the last for months the dollar has declined almost 6% against the yen (keeping in mind that Canon is… -
Re: Mass "Make 2nd copy" utility
Although I haven't tried this yet, thank you for authoring this. I really applaud your efforts, and this is a much needed addition to Smugmug. However, I have to say I do have a little problem with paying $10 to register a product to use a service I already pay $130/yr to use. Granted, that is no fault of your own, as this… -
Re: Reception/Location Lighting
Midwest Photos LP160's are good flashes and they have a few left for $130. I use an older LP120 and have never had it overheat. If you plan on needing something that recycles quickly and won't overheat, you may look at a studio strobe. If you have access to power then Alien Bees are an inexpensive way to do this. If you… -

I have consistantly noticed that after running the bulk zoom in several galleries that the 1x1 size, which I use exclusively on all my galleries, reverts back to the original, and I have to do it all over again. The most recent is last night, I have several pages in this gallery… -
Re: Looking for sports templates
The first one, you need to green screen or get ready to do a lot of cutting out (suggest you buy a filter to help you do that, or you are going to be SICK of masking after your 20th+ photo.) The second isn't as bad because it seems they didn't care about the background.. But the first is definitely a LOT more time and… -
Re: Nikon Flash suggestions?
Sell the SB910, and pick up a few used SB700's. Okay maybe not that brash of an idea, but I do love my SB700 as a backup, heck I started using it all the time now and the SB900 ends up not getting used because it's just so much heavier and larger. Really, we can't reply unless you first tell us whether you're interested in… -

Hi, I was on a recent trip where I went to Perth, Broome and Darwin. These are some of the photos I took. Cable Beach is in Broome Western Australia and has amazing warm turquoise waters.
