Big Bubble
Got a quick shot of a fly blowing a bubble on top of the bird table, but in trying to get better focus I disturbed it and it flew away. This is the better shot of the 2 or 3 I managed. WDYT? Re: what am i doing wrong ?
THanks for the other replys also guys...i pretty well always use a tripod as i did in these shots. Its funny though...in the last 3 or 4 days we were getting brillient sunrises & as i was waiting up on the hill in the dark...along came more & more weirdos with cameras & tripods. Phottix TR-80 Remote Switch Jason: I have a D80 and got one of these from Ebay, Hong Kong dealer: Phottix TR-80 Remote Switch, $52, which plugs into the D80 remote recepticle. I have only gotten as far as a simple test to see if it works, but have not done any time lapse stuff yet.... just too busy. But this should act as… -
Re: Andy/Baldy - feed me
Just got back from cholesterol screening at Stanford... I've had a really rough time gettiing it under control. Many doctors say their patients have a tough time reducing cholesterol if they don't drop weight, so the person who doesn't have much weight to lose is in a very difficult position. About 5 years ago I lost 40… -
Re: greg gorman seminar
This may be the scheme, based on componets of Pixel Genius PhotoKit Sharpener, described by Jeff Schewe starting on page 52 of the September/October 2005 issue of Digital PhotoPro. I just tried the it, upresing a crop of a 6 mp (Canon 10D) capture by 400%, and it does seem to work well, viewing the print at a "normal "… -
Re: The Plunge
Thanks for the comments :)) Red nose? Good question, I suspect it may have something to do with the water temp., or perhaps fair skin and a day in the sun, or both. I was tempted to "fix" it but didn't because it is close to the reality of the day. I was underwater off and on, only as absolutely required because at 52… -
Re: First Moon Shot
Thanks guys! Here are the details from DPP. It was shot pretty early in the morning, but the sky was a pretty bright blue. I had to speed up the shutter speed quite a bit to expose the moon correctly which completely darkened the sky.
