Client Proofing
Is there a feature on SmugMug (PRO) that will allow clients to make a selection or mark photos, in a gallery, that they would like to keep. So I don't have to go through and make adjustments to all. This would allow them to show me keepers or images they would like adjustments made? For example, I have uploaded 122 photos… -
Re: cs5 photograph size wrong?
What Photoshop reports is the resolution in the image file itself as 325 pixels per inch at 2.62 inches wide and 1.548 inches high. Sure, you can print it bigger, but the resolution must drop as digismile did the math on (unless you resample, which is another can of worms). If you want to see this happen, go into the Print… -

CP: Finao Boxes to deliver wedding proofs
Cross-posted from Weddings forum as this is more of a business question I guess. I want to offer a product where I print the photos (from SM of course!) and then deliver them to clients in these beautiful boxes rather than just send them out. I love how these look and am planning to test these out myself:… -
Summer in Death Valley
Some things are worth 122 F (aka 50 C) :) After Yosemite and Mono Lake I spent three nights in Death Valley (hoping that less people would mean less footprints and more solitude), here are some of my favorites. #1 #2 #3 Night Visitor: #4 #5 - Palm tree and the Milky Way (the stars at Death Valley are incredible, I want to… -

Re: step-up rings?
You should get no vignetting at all with the standard filter--slim is a waste of money for crop bodies. I've used a standard CPL on my 12-24 on a 20D. Now, the UWA FOV with a polarizer issue is a different story--the issue as mentioned by gryphonslair99. You can cut the $150 pricetag by a lot going through hvstar.net. I… -
Re: 5D Issues?
I have been using the 5D for more than 18 months and so far happy with the picture it delivered. Many of my friends compares the 5D FF with other crop sensor bodies. One thing we may need to look into the effective number of pixal per mm on the sensor: 1. 5D has 12.8 MP and resolution at 4368 X 2592 on the sensor size of… -
Winner — Mini Challenge #122
Sorry for the delay folks. Real life tends to get in the way sometimes. There were so few entries for this Mini, :dunno, that I am declaring that any image that was submitted but did not make runner up or winner gets an Honorable Mention. They all deserve it anyways. :clap Here goes. 2nd Runner Up – billseye 1st Runner Up…
