Upload Image via oAuth API returns system error
I'm trying to upload an image via the raw http post api(http://wiki.smugmug.net/display/API/Uploading). Any hints what might be wrong? The content is a base64 string of an image. I'm able to recreate the image from this string, so this should be ok. //my request: POST http://upload.smugmug.com/ HTTP/1.1 Accept: */*… -
Re: Transoxania (Uzbekistan)
I did it all for the Nukus Nukus How to get around in the sticks U-Stan has an excellent train corrider from Bukhara, through Samarkand, up to Tashkent. They even have two high speed trains; the Registan and the Sharq. But outside that, you are pretty much on your own. There are two ways to get out of or into the Khorezm… -

First, this morning (1/29) as I write this, performance is decent. Not good, not normal, but 2-4 seconds for a large image to come up, and no failures. I will try to do it again if it gets worse. PS LAB Color, Chapter 16 -- Recipe for portraits
This chapter presents a recipe for portraits which Dan claims drastically improves their belivability. The recipe is easy to learn but it has a few decision points which I've found difficult to master. I've been practicing it for a few months now and also practiced in Dan's class. Sleeping with the Enemy—Trying a D700
I'm a curious person to the core. I like to read manuals and learn something deeply. It's not like me to rally behind a product without knowing what else is out there. I like to know how the other half live. I switched from Aperture to Lightroom after spending months learning and using Aperture because I found it suited me… -

Pancho, and Lefty, and the Kid , rolled out of old Terre Haute in the Indiana Territory, at noon, Monday September 4, Labor Day, and headed west on US 36. 51 - clovisguy - Droplets My first impression is that a 10:4 pano crop on the top would look awesome. Love the droplet. 52 - RogersDA - Love is a like a rock Hmm, I like the photo, but don't get a feel for the theme. I do get some smooth vibe, but I get pulled toward craggy with the carving. I feel stuck in the middle. 53… -
Camping Lab Roof Top Tent Reveiw
My wife Cindy and I have been on the road for almost 4 years now. We've been in our 25' Sunline travel trailer the entire time. There have been times we wanted to leave the camper behind and explore areas more remote or off the beaten path. Not wanting to rough it too much, I mean we are pretty used to this Glamping…
