Re: SF2 Unofficial Feedback Thread
I'm feeling woefully inadequate that I don't have my picks in nice thumbnail layout, but here are my selections in order of my preference: #36 Gotcha! by Traunerk Wildlife photography is what I like to do when I am not shooting for LPS and I wish I had a shot like this in my collection. The detail on the bird's body, head… -

Re: What lens(es) for me?
Lots of ways to do with this choice. Starting with lens choices is a good way to start, but again, you have some real choice. I do suggest that a 2 lens solution is probably best to start with and I suggest that a "standard" zoom plus a "telephoto" zoom would solve most of your shooting situations. If you are pretty sure… -

I purchased a Panasonic GF-1 when it was introduced several years ago, as I was interested in its smaller form factor. Below ISO 500, It took fine pictures, but was… -

Unless full-frame is in your future less than 6-12 months from now, you've got plenty of shooting to do in the meantime and you should have the right lenses! A few lenses that I know of which will hold their resale… -
Re: Borrowlenses Vent
More than a reasonable "Vent" to a moronic problem that should have never occoured. Surely any sales/ service person with half a brain could figure that was a totally unacceptable situation and do something about it? It's true people are getting dumbed down these days and forget the basic premise of their employment in a… -

Opened in 1829, Eastern State is considered to be the world's first true penitentiary. The method was a Quaker-inspired system of… -
