PS LAB Color, Chapter 16 -- Recipe for portraits
This chapter presents a recipe for portraits which Dan claims drastically improves their belivability. The recipe is easy to learn but it has a few decision points which I've found difficult to master. I've been practicing it for a few months now and also practiced in Dan's class. Now I'm getting consistently improved… -

I think I am finally getting caught up with things. 2 - nelsonstuff - The Love of Money is the Root of All Evil Kind of funny in it's crude construction, but babies don't usually have a love of anything but food at that point, so I don't quite get the setup. 3 - Povertybarn - "The Evil that Men do" Very cool look! Re: I think I saw a pussycat....
First of all: when I go to Africa, I don't go there to take pictures. I go to be in Africa, and the pictures are something to help me remember. If I look at my images, I can again smell the bush when the sun is heating up the earth. Last time was the first time I had with me a DSLR setup. It existed of an Olympus E-1… -
Re: G15 vs. P7700
Hi Lyle...looks like you haven't had much of a response to your query. I happen to have gotten a P7700 as an early birthday present in March. I was looking for the same thing as you...a high-end point and shoot...easy to shoot...lots of controls on the body...and most of all...DSLR like images with as much usable ISO as… -
Re: Good Starter Cameras?
Buy as good as you can. A lot of the entry level cameras are entry level because the manufacturer's are price pointing them there. Entry level is not synonymous with starter camera. If you want to shoot motion...horses...you will not want to use an older focus system...sure they'll work...but it's easier to capture very… -
Re: Color Management Issue
The EXIF data for the image ColdClimb just uploaded says the colorspace is sRGB. It does have some "color data" but I don't know what it means or how a browser might interpret it.
