Orlov trotter festival
1 At the end of August we had Orlov trotter festival at Babyakovo near our Voronezh city. 2 The 235 anniversary of Orlov trotter is celebrated. Orlov trotters are very popular in Russia and several other countries, especially Scandinavian, for harness racing. Orlovs make ideal troika horses. The tall and massive Orlovs are… -

Re: Where to buy?
On the topic of CC, I finally got what I thought was a decent deal on a lens. I wanted to put the 55-250 f4-5.6 IS in my bag just to have a longer zoom than the original kit lens IF I could get it for less than the internet prices. The original price was $329, WAY WAY too much.., saw it marked down to $235, now just same… -
Re: Does anyone think this would work.....
Thanks for the comments art. The main reason I want a backpack style is that I've had many other bags, including a 75AW and my current belt-style Mountainsmith TourFX. I like the mountainsmith but I'm over having the thing slung around my waist. I want to be able to pack everything comfortably and basically not consider it… -

Re: Convert GIF 89 to 87a ???
Looking at the content of a GIF, I see that the "GIF89a" is right in the very first bytes. You might try using a binary editor to change that to look like the earlier version. Or you might write (or pay someone to write) some code to make a utility to make the changes. I don't have a GIF87 to look at so I can only show you… -
Re: Chapter 4, Professional Photoshop, 5th Edition
Posterization occurs when you take data lying accross a given range, and you compress that range too much. For example, if you had data that previously lay along 230 to 245 in a channel, and then you steepened the curve in that area enough, that same data might be forced to fit from 235-237. This picture of the Samoyed has… -

Lighting for an indoor R/C Event
A track I work with a lot in So Cal has been given the honor of hosting one of the biggest races around. The race is going to take place in January so I have some time to prep. I currently use a Rebel XSi or T1i with a combo of a 50mm 1.8, 70-200mm 2.8 and a 18-50mm 2.8. I am able to take decent shots with what I have but…
