I am certain that right now I will only be buying one "wide", so with that in mind should it be the TS or the 17 - 40 (going to look if the 17 - 40 is rebate eligible)? ann EDIT: 17 - 40 is $819 less $40 less $150 rebate. To the camera store and back with only the printer. They have the 17 - 40 in stock, but really don't think I need that. They have the 1.4X TC for $419 so I think I'll look for a used one. They have the remote shutter for $99 They can bring the TS in, but their price is $1700 so that will be coming across the border too.… -

I'm thinking that the 16 - 35 is out of range. $1800cdn, eligible for a $200 rebate. Think I am better off with the 17 - 40 AND either the 100 macro or the 1.4 TC. The TS kinda scares me!
