Stupid EF-S Question
So I feel kinda silly for even asking this question, but I don't think I fully understand the difference between an EF and EF-S lens. I've got an XSi with a 1.6x crop factor sensor, and I know the EF-S style lenses are optimized for those kind of sensors, but at the same time I can still use the regular EF lenses. On the… -
Multiple Recent Photos Pages by Folders/Gallery
It seems to me the recent photos (and latest galleries) selection does not take full advantage of the features of the new SM. Specifically the powerful multi-level folders and the ease in which you can set up secondary links in the navigation bar. I would like to be able to select the source of the recent photos by… -

Re: camera thread!!!
Since moolah for lenses is out of reach.... I'd say look at used Canon G3's, G5's or G6's on Fred Miranda and Canon Forums. They're going in the $300's right now, and are a first-rate value-for-money. Full manual, wide angle accessory lens is good (not the extender, though) - all-around good camera. And yes, Andy, all of… -

A New Season Begins
It seems like every year the outdoor soccer season in the northeast starts earlier and earlier. A few from the weekend Scorpion Bowl Tournament, Braintree Mass. Saturday morning, Steady rain mid 30's Saturday afternoon, torrential down pour, mid 40's, camera stayed in the car. Sunday morning, Clear, mid 30's, windy… -
