Re: Are you a RAW shooter.
Photoshop CS6 (if that's the version user "DKellyC" has) does indeed come with ACR (Adobe Camera RAW converter), and that version ACR can be updated to read digital cameras' RAW files as recent as: Canon EOS 7D Mark II Canon PowerShot G7 X Canon PowerShot SX60 HS Casio EX-100PRO Fujifilm X30 Fujifilm X100T Fujifilm X-T1… -
Re: What resolution to choose (From RAW)
Colourbox's reply is straight from page 109 in Bruce Fraser's Real World Camera RAW with Photoshop CS2, and Fraser does indeed say it probably does not matter, particularly if you uprez in PSCS2 with Bicubic Smoother. He does say that cameras with non-square pixels ( think Nikon D1x) may be different. Thus I think the… -

Help with a kit for a Nikon D7000
I just switched to Nikon from Sony and am having a hard time figuring out what lenses to get for my D7000. On the Sony I used a CZ 16-80 (90% of the time), the Minolta 70-210 (3% of the time), and the Minolta 35mm f/1.8 (7% of the time). The only thing I felt I was missing from my kit was the wide range (10-20mm), which I… -
Re: Need advice on breaking out of Craigslist marketing.
Thanks AugDog. That all sounds like more good advice. I've been trying to make FB work for me, but so far, nothing. I have something like 109 "fans" , or likes, but they are qiuet, and I can't get them to engage in activity. I think once I do, things will break out a lot there. I guess there is a thing with FB where you… -

Re: Gymnastics: Canon vs. Nikon; your choice?
Great suggestions. A week or so ago, I did price renting from www.lensrentals.com and it was something like $125 for the body and $109 for the 70-200 f2.8 zoom. I thought that was sort of cost prohibative. I've been bouncing back and forth between the Canon 40d and the Nikon D80 until Keith(Beetle8) threw down the gauntlet…
