I think this classifies as photo art. I like HDR and I'm trying to get good at it. It doesn't look like what I saw in the viewfinder. And finding different angles and views of things with perspective can also look cool. Both these shots taken this winter, 7 frames at 2/3 stops intervals, stacked in Adobe HDR Pro and processed in RAW filter for photoshop. You can see what a scene will look like in your head before you shoot it, just look for highlights and shadows, dramatic lighting.
OK, Rags, I'm in. I haven't done much recently, but newer members probably haven't seen some of my older stuff. Not sure I would call any of them art, but some are kind of fun. Here's one to start:

This thread ought to bring out some good stuff. I wish I had something to put up. You know, Rags, you used to do more of this kind of shooting than you have lately. Inventive photography.... as I like to call it. You're good at it.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

It was fun to stay with the tripod on the balcony of the hotel at late evening and watch these cruise ships coming and going.
They were not very fast, but with the slower speed I was still able to get those lines of light behind...
I always wanted to do this with cars in the streets, but never had a good spot
* I thought I had it in a larger format like L2, L3, but it's just L - I'll have to dig into the original images on the HD
This has nothing to do with Magritte - it's just that the "eye" idea crossed my mind and I remembered this composite image I made a while ago for a Dgrin challenge...
