Well, as usual, this was a fantastic round! It was great to see so many very worthy images. I had a really, really, difficult time (really) narrowing my selection list to those shown below - there were quite a number of others that were on earlier iterations of the list...
my top three...
#3 sunita - simplicity
#2 peterst6906 - untitled
Winner! dlibrach - Green
Congratulations Dave!:clap
I can't wait to see what you will come up with for us in Mini Challenge #10!
I have a new appreciation for what Emily and the other judges of the DSS series have to go through when trying to make their selections...it is not an easy task.
ps. I apologize for getting this out a little late - I spent the weekend out at the New Dungeness Light House and it took longer than expected to travel home.

I love the color in the winning photo and it's a composition that really appeals to the style I've been shooting lately. It just jumps off the screen. Looking forward to see what you come up with for the next challenge Dave.
Regards,
Peter
This image stood out from the first time I saw it!!

Thanks Neil. I was roaming around the Uffizi Gallery in Florence last summer and saw this dead potted tree outside a set of french doors and just snapped the picture. Not bad for a little P&S Casio.
