Whoa.
I really like #1.
You did a nice job in all, but 4! is a knockout followed closely by 6 (WOW!) and 5 although I don't you would lose anything cropping out the tower and crane. Attitude is nice.
I don't like the wrinkled up dress in "I'm ready..."
What's lighting her in #6? I see what looks like a rim on her right side.
Canon 40D : Canon 400D : Canon Elan 7NE : Canon 580EX : 2 x Canon 430EX : Canon 24-70 f2.8L : Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L USM : Canon 28-135mm f/3.5 IS : 18-55mm f/3.5 : 4GB Sandisk Extreme III : 2GB Sandisk Extreme III : 2 x 1GB Sandisk Ultra II : Sekonik L358
Thanks for the info. I haven't done shooting like this, and didn't realize the 580 would put out that much light.
As a side note I notice you shot at ISO 640. I recently read an interesting tech article about how some Canon camera's do a better job with half stop / odd ISO settings than otherCanon camera's.
I admit I focused in on my particular camera, 5D, and found that if you own this or a 1 series Canon you will get cleaner images using full stop ISO settings. IE: An ISO 800 shot with identical settings will yield a better image than using ISO 640.
It seems to confirm what I thought I was seeing, but couldn't tie in to the reason.

Thanks Damon!
Lighting in 6 is pure ambient. But it's a very interesting place (mouth of a short tunnel on the camera left), so the natural light creates a rim effect:-)

Sam, I never thought of these full stop ISO issues. I guess I would experiment, but with 50D being so close I'll prolly wait

I do have one question..........what was the lighting set up used in #10?
Thanks,
Sam
Nothing fancy at all... M for the ambient, in-shoe 580EXII in ETTL mode.
