Harry --- The mass of geese is a fantastic shot. My first inclination is to focus on the negative space (the background)--a real life M.C. Escher. Example: http://www.mcescher.com/Gallery/symmetry-bmp/E80.jpg

Regarding Linda's reaction, I remember your doing the same in a different circumstance. Several years ago, when I posted a photo of distant cranes flying through the landscape at the Salton Sea and complained how difficult it was to find them close there, you replied the same way--that they just wander around your yard in Florida....

Thanks John, it was a wonderous sight to see thousand sof geese balst-off at the same time.

Down in this area the sandhills are rather used to humans and allow us to get exremely close to them. Now if we just had a few moutains as a back-drop it would really be something.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

The school's in Kissimmee. We'll actually be using the Houston Astros complex and staying at the Quality Inn close by...

I'd love to... would I get to kick people out if they abuse me too much like an ump in a game? :argue
