The Kelso Train Station

I happened to be passing through the ghost town of Kelso, CA just after sunset while doing some exploring in the Mojave Desert. This train station was built in 1925, and scheduled to be demolished in the 1990's. But a group of residents banded together to save it, and the National Park Service stepped in and renovated it as a visitor's center. There was a very cool moon up, and it seemed like an opportunity for a brief photo op.
Thanks for lookin'.

Thanks, Daniel! And yes, now that you mention it, I think I did get Venus in that first one.

Thanks, Jack! Yeah, #4 was my last shot and I was running out of ideas.

Hi Thwack. Yup. In fact all four of the shots with the train station are HDRs. I purposely over-cooked #3 to give it that surreal look.
