    Beautiful shots Joel.. it looks like he just came out of the groomers..rolleyes1.gif Cleanest Coyot in the Valley (with a beautiful winter coat).

    Joel, those are magnificent shots of the little guy you have there. We had a somewhat friendly coyote at Glacier in '07 run around for 5 minutes or so while many of us got closeups of his mug, but yours seems even more comfortable in front of the lens. How rough (sharp?) is that terrain he's running around on? Doesn't look too easy on the pads of their paws.

    Thanks very much for the comment, David. This guy probably would have hung out all day with us. I'm sure he gets a handout or two with his antics. The terrain there is nasty. It looks like the same surface as in Badwater, mostly mineral crystals. Good point about being tough on the paws. It's got to be.

    Yes, I remember the little fellow from Glacier but he was not as nice looking as Joel's coyote.
