This is how mine turned out: (I think I pushed the highlights too far; too much contrast; too saturated. I'll retry from scratch again tomorrow. Good practice though.) Oh, also, how did you widen the pupils and make the catch lights? I tried cloning and filling but those looked totally fake. Specially zooming in. If you don't mind, that is. You guys have helped me tremendously.

You actually got the main gist of it. I did forget to mention to mask the skin after you do the lab trick, So you retain her skin tone.

For the pupils, just make a new blank layer. Take a black brush pick your size set hardness to around 60-80% and dab the eyes :) same with the catch light, just set brush opacity lower. and erase the parts that dont belong. There top secret techniques huh :) Do a slight gaussian blur to blend it with original too.

...Why didn't I think of that O_O Thanks! I just did the eyes, but my photoshop is now loading really really slowly...I'll put it up when it wakes back up lol.

Btw, you mentioned studies done on eye/pupil size and their attractiveness, and I remember last year I was thinking to myself, these contacts are cool: http://bp1.blogger.com/_DWCpoLCnT90/R2U5O4uHtJI/AAAAAAAAAC0/jm7dxE5-4lY/s1600-h/Grey+lens.bmp

They're filled with color to enlarge the pupils and the irises. I'd never wear 'em lol, but apparently, there's a big market for it eek7.gif

I love this before and after shot, as if the contacts magically created the transformation lol: http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b366/melina_zhen/clothes/4.jpg

This is the new version. Added eye enhancements, lowered some of the saturation on the hair. I also put the original image on top and masked everything but the skin. Then I lowered the opacity. Hopefully that toned the brightness of the skin from the previous version. Is it better? I feel like the catch light on the right side is a little off.

That's definitely better. Remind me to post an action for you. It's a set that I made to sharpen for web. I'll post it when I get back later.

Ok awesome! BTW Does having a lot of actions slow down photoshop? I have 5 sets I putter around with, and I feel like it's slowed considerably. I'm going to go through it and delete some (ones I don't use) if that is the case. I love actions though lol.
