"the goodfeathers"... rolleyes1.gif thats a real fun shot with the play with words..... haahhaahaa

I have a confession to make: I stole it from the cartoon show Animaniacs, which had a bit about three vaguely Italian pigeons in NYC they called 'The Goodfeathers'. I saw these three guys perched on the Empire State Building and I couldn't resist! :D

and for the record - i'm also a huge fan of the "late for dinner" shot. i nearly fell out of my chair laughing. rolleyes1.gif

I found this guy stealing food from the pool-siders at my resort in Orlando. Needless to say, it's not a great shot, but he was a quick little thief!

sheesh cuong! Thats awfully close to dangerous snakes! I sure wouldn't have the guts to snap a rattler at any distance. But I am curious how close were you???

The bear was always nice and gentle with the feeders made of milk jugs. The nicer feeders we actually paid for though, he would carry off and we normally couldn't find them after.

Thanks, Joyce. I used the 100mm macro lens for that shot and the front of the lens was about a couple feet away. I figured it wasn't rattling so it didn't mind having a camera that close.:D

shoot... I don't know about CA rattlers, but here in Texas the only way I am getting that close is to have a sheet of glass in between us. They can get ugly faster than I could move.
Good shot! really, it made my skin crawl and I coudn't look at it, but wonderful shot!

well that is a great shot but still very dangerous even though it wasn't giving a warning. It probably was curios about you as you were of him. But still dangerous...

    Greetings, new here.
Hello all, I guess I'm late to the game but here goes. Hope these count for the challenge. The owl is perched on my friends hand and the deer is in the back yard. Hope they are worthy of the site.
