This unofficial feedback thread is a catch-all of sorts, lets make it happen:thumb

(now somebody is going to need to start #21 (when its time) without me cuz i will be in the thick of many many issues)(volunteers anyone?:ear )

Anyway, Lets get #20 Feedback started!!

This thread is:
  • a place to post a list of your top ten favorites. (be heard, and let everyone know what images moved you.)
  • a place to post your "the making of my image"
  • a place to ask someone "how did they do that?"(for us all to see:D )

    I'm still working my way through the gallery- man there were some great shots this round! Really interesting, too.

    Will post my faves ... if I ever manage to whittle it down to a manageable number!

    hey, wha' happened?! I can't get the links from the thumbnails by right clicking any more - have the settings been changed? I know that the main image is right click protected but... the thumbnails were working before (or have I simply gone completely loopy and in reality linked to those differently last round and I just don't remember it?!! headscratch.gifdunno)

    Er... I knew that. Er.... just testing? :D. (Actually, it's because there was a lot of text at the top of the page and I'm on a laptop - I couldn't actually SEE the "share" button. Big. Fat. Duh. rolleyes1.gif)

    I find it interesting that there were a lot more serene images than chaotic ones - I guess chaos is more difficult to depict in many ways! Also, I find it intersting that this round produced SO MANY fantastic shots - when the theme was first announced I was a bit ho-hum about it, and didnt' really expect it to take off as some others have done, but boy was I wrong! Great images. In a round with this many wonderful shots I always feel slightly guilty picking "favorites", because there are SO many more images than these that I really enoyed, but fwiw (or not), in no particular order....

    This was a particularly tough round that at first in my mind I had underestimated how hard it was! Superb work by everyone as usual and difficult to pick favorites! I have been really busy of late and haven't had time to tell everyone a cc on their pics ...sorry. Maybe things will slow down for me (ha! when I'm dead!) and next round I will have more time to spend here.thumb.gif

    Wow! So many great shots! Here are some of my favorites. There easily could have been twice as many, had to resort to "One Potato, Two Potato".:D Seriously, I had a hard time making my short list short. Even those that didn't make it on to the short list to start with were near misses. Either a great image with a so-so (IMHO) conversion or vice-versa. This group just continues to improve and never fails to astound me with what is delivered. (Proud to call myself one of the gang!)

    Live in the Moment
    Since I'm new here I haven't figured out how to post my favorite picks to my posting yet. ( Maybe I'll have it figured out by the next round ) So that being said I don't know if there would have been enough room for them all. Everyone here does such wonderful work.     First off...I want to thank everyone who picked my shot as one of your faves. I appreciate the little boost! I was really happy with the way this picture turned out and also appreciate all the feedback and tips I received that helped me make it better.

    I had a hard time picking my top 10. There were a couple that I truly loved from the beginning, but after that it was almost like eenie meenie miney moe. They are just too many great ones, it really was difficult to just pick 10. I think I picked something like 25 or 30 my first pass through. (Yikes!)

    I haven't had a chance to put very many comments in the gallery yet, but I will try to work on that this week. I really liked way more than 10 shots and I just want to say that everyone did a good job. I noticed that my picks leaned toward the 'Serenity' part of the theme. Hmmmm. I guess 'Chaos' must be something I try to avoid even when the pics are great.

    I sure learned a lot about b&w conversion and vignetting this week. I enjoyed working on this week's challenge and want to thank everyone again for the wonderful feedback and tips I received.

    Thanks to all who included me in their top faves. All the pics were great in this round. I almost didn't put that moon shot in, I kept changing my mind, then going back, and changing my mind again. I probably changed my mind 100 times or so, and finally decided to go with the moon shot. I didn't like the way the moon looked in the first shot, so I grabbed my camera, and took some more shots of the moon, and started again. Thank you all for the feedback, which helped me 200%!!!clap.gifclap
