Traveled down to Martinsville Sunday for my second race in as many weeks. Although the race Saturday was rained out, the weather Sunday was great besides the wind gusts of up to 26mph. C&C Welcome Enjoy!

Robby Gordon rolleyes1.gif How many times did this guy spin? He's worse than a rookie.

Well this spin wasn't necessarily his fault for once, he had a flat lol

Numbers 4 and 8 are the only ones that really do anything for me. The rest are pretty snap-shottish. Sorry.

Walter, nice series. I'm a huge NASCAR fan and watched every lap that was televised so it is nice see how you captured it with your camera.

I like the view of #4. It really shows off the "giant paperclip" not to mention the wonderful skies.

I also like the action of the pit crew in #5. The only thing I would have tried differently would had been to focus more of the crew members and less on the car. However, based on your previous photos I think you were already max'd on you zoom so this was probably not possible. Still a wonderful shot.

Of course I like #11 with the beer cans flying since I picked Denny that week for fantasy NASCAR and not Johnson.:flush

    Wow?

Nascar fans are endorsing fans, that are throwing objects at cars. rolleyes1.gif

    Btw, not a 48 fan, or a 48 hater.

Yeah I was maxed out on my zoom, I will be taking care of that though in the coming months. Hope to be getting a 500mm. Glad you liked the shots, I do my best at the moment to be shooting only as a fan.

You may have seen these but here are two posts from Daytona and Bristol.
