    Going to shoot my next possible idea in a few minutes. I very optimistic but who knows if I will get a shot worthy of the compentition thus far.

    It's the first time I've had to link to EXIF for a composite image, seems to be working even after I logged out, but just because I'm paranoid and don't want to be DQ'd, I'll link it here too... :D

    Here's the gallery with all the parts used for the image!

    ? When I click the upload images it sends me to a page saying invalid link.

    I've been wondering the same thing. Either we're going to wake up to QUITE a gallery in the morning, or people are just too busy for this one. Here's hoping it's the former - I'm dying to see what everybody came up with!!! thumb.gif

    Thanks for looking for me Kevin & Linda! I would hate to be DQ'd from my first Mega cause I did something silly and didn't get the linking right!

    If I remember right, in the last Mega, the gallery was pretty empty the night before it ended, but had a flurry of activity overnight and there were plenty new ones to look at in the morning. Hopefully that's the case this time...

    Just wanted to give you a heads up, the white border will get you DQ'd! It's number 9 on the rules (here). You're got a great photo there, hate to see it get DQ'd for a border! thumb.gif

    I wish that was just a game in Vegas... I read the date of the end of the challenge, but not the time. JUST got in from Vegas, JUST downloading pics to sort through for the challenge.

    Okay. My eternal struggle with the camera is, shoot, or participate. This trip would have been fully "participate," (weekend away with the hubby) but I had the Mega overhead... so I took my old body (D80) and a light lens (50 mm 1.4) and no tripod (packing light - as opposed to the D700 with my 24-70 2.8 beast). This is what I probably would have entered unless I'd had more time to do a compilation of images.

    By the way - I am completely spoiled by the performance of my D700 now. No comparison.

    clap.gifwow.. check out that performer guy... he is cool, I bet it was fun to watch .. I hear you about spending time with the hubby.... my family always looks to see if "she" is going to bring the camera, if ya know what I mean.. It has become a third arm..

    I like your image above, but the one I like best for the theme would have been the car, the "red" one from behind that windshield.... that one definitely fits the theme and is awesome.. a little PS work and that image has the potential to pop off the screen.. and displays a lot of hustle and bustle energy of the town. nice work on all of them, I like the performer shots and that volcano too...
