    Like with any site, it happens. But it's certainly not "usual" with SmugMug. The service here is topnotch.

    I hope we're back in 10 minutes. I have to sign up a staff photographer and get his account set up. I'm actually shocked that SM is down. I've never seen this happen. :cry

    Site down again!
    With all the problems they are having, I am beginning to wonder if SmugMug will eventually lose all my images!? This down time is the third week in a row on a Sunday-Monday this has happened. This will affect sales, since most of my sales occur on Monday thru Thursday from weekend shoots. Would SmugMug be liable for lost sales? With this kind of service, I think a 15% cut in sales is too steep.

    I've been with SM since 2005. I've had more outages with my hosting company who I pay 12x more than my SM account. And the level of service that SM provides is top notch. I'm actually having all my staff photographers sign up to SM. (I was trying to sign up one of them right now.)

    Nope, still down.. won't even let me sign into my gallery or the competition gallery... looks like a late night...and hopefully it is up and running before the competition deadline time...:uhoh

    I agree -- the amount of downtime seems a bit much, and communication is lacking. The SM status page's last post at 8:34pm says that everything is back up, yet it's been down since around 9:30pm. If you're going to have a status it needs to be kept up-to-date.
