This is the link to the album I am having trouble with. There are three pictures that worked fine, the rest...no luck. I tried to delete all pics and reload them, didn't help. It's been about three or four days I've been trying to figure this one out. HELP US SUPERHERO!

Exactly which ones did work? Can you point them out?

    Work-around
In response to an email to our support heroes, I received the following speedy reply from one of the heroic staff, Wendee:

"One thing that usually does the trick, is to rotate all the images one
direction, and then rotate them back to normal. Rotating the images puts them back into the processing queue, and it helps to fix whatever is "stuck." Try rotating them, and then refreshing or clearing your browser cache, and try cropping the thumbs again."

This solution works every time with every thumbnail. thumb.gif All I did with each thumbnail that I needed to adjust the crop on was press the 'rotate' button a couple times and then adjust the crop. The resulting cropped area is saved and displayed perfectly. Actually I did not even need to refresh my browser cache. I just went back to the gallery and the thumbnail appeared as cropped.
Thanks very much to Wendee. You lived up to your name as 'support hero'! nod.gif

ROTATING a photo DOES NOT work for me. I select a few photos to rotate, it says it is doing it ... but the results is nothing is done.

Something serious is wrong here. Oh sorcerers please fix this soon.

Yeah we are - but we don't know why it's only affecting you and a select few others. And only on some photos / galleries.

    Strange.

For what it's worth I finally got my one pic to crop okay. Not sure why but it worked. Added a couple more pics and they cropped properly. Thanks, Paul

Before answering this I was going to try the ROTATING thing that Wendee suggested...I logged in and decided before I rotated them I would try one more time. After days and days of fighting with it, deleting them all, uploading them again, and trying everything under the sun...they magically started cropping again! eek7.gif I have no clue what was wrong, but am happy it is working and I can get on with my life!! wings.gif Thanks to everyone who was trying to help us out, I don't know if was something ya'll did or "magic" but I'll take it!

Im also very happy it is working because it is a very handy tool and a huge time saver. I think it was the rotating action that fixed mine, as Wendee suggested. Anyway, maybe they fixed the underlying problem since then. mwink.gif

Whatever the great sorcerers did, it is working today. No rotating needed, either. Thanks! wings.gif

That's great news! I haven't been in on the weekend that much. Does anyone still have any problems? Please report with links to photos and what exactly you tried to crop the thumbnail to so that we can weed out any corner cases if there are any left.

    Thanks for your patience, everyone!
