new logos to choose from
So I emailed the lady that had done the other ones no one, including myself, really liked 2 days ago and haven't heard back from her and I'm in a time crunch so I contacted the guy on 99designs that I said I liked his design in my last thread and even though he's out of town he got back to me asking what I wanted and then tonight I came home to these samples (did I mention he's out of town so I'm impressed ) so what do you think? I know I already like them better, not sure if I should change the fonts around or not? which is your favorite?
eta: So right after I posted this the other designer got back to me with these (i'll number them 6-10 going down)
Much better. Knowing you are focusing on seniors and young families, if I remember correctly, I would say #2 is the best. It's clean and easily reproduced in different medias. Number 5 would be a close second. Number 4 isn't too bad either if you like script fonts.

question for everyone, I've posted this same question on multiple sites and it's interesting. The non-photographers, so my target audience love 8/9 and then 1/5 the other photographers (professional and hobbiests) like 5 mostly, but it confuses me, I mean it's pretty, but has nothing to do with emerald or rose, so I'm not sure about it. Can anyone provide insight?

Because they have no taste? ....just kidding.
I like logos to be more simple, that's why I liked 2 & 5. Number 8 (the black one) isn't too bad. I like the font but the graphic just looks to busy for me. I don't care for the gradient on the font and I don't think it will reproduce well either.
How about if you just used the pedals of the rose on #9 and a small stem? It would still convey a rose, but not so busy. Just a thought.

actually that's a thought, I'll look into it more when I get back home thanks
I like # 1,and # 5 but I agree that 5 is more abiguous conceptually.
On #1 I think the logo needs a little more finesse with vines and the bkg edge. Overall I like the first designer's work better.

If I chose number one, my original choice before getting the others really, I was thinking the same thing, making it a bit rounder and adding the edging. I'm so lost what to do I have like 3 ideas of where to go and kind a wish I could take some of each designer and put them togehter lol
So I've made my decision and I've gone with the rose from #1 with most everything from #4, plus I've asked for a better green. so I'll keep you guys updated with what I get.
Ive been playing with my logo, and as it is, my business name is 2 lines and covers my logo. I would like to curve my name on the top and photography on the bottom of the log, but I dont see how to do this in photoshop CS. I was hoping someone here could tell me if its possible to fit text on a path, like a circle.
I could do this in a corel program thats like 15 years old, but that program doesnt work in good enough dpi to do there and bring into photoshop.

I've merged your threads. Three different threads on the same subject is a bit confusing.
Good luck with your logo venture
